Students who visit the Museum are introduced to an entire new world. This is a fascinating experience that unites the hidden with the revealed, the miniature with the gigantic, and the accurate with the abstract.
This is an arena where the developments call for imagination, decipherment, creativity, interpretation, and curiosity.
It is an incredible journey between art and science through the research laboratories at the Nanotechnology Institute.
During the visit, the students are introduced to contemporary interdisciplinary intellectual developments.
They witness the sparks of creativity that are created at the artist’s studio and the scientist’s laboratory and are introduced to the unique ongoing research studies at the Nanotechnology Institute as well as the artists’ visual studies.
What happens when the artist visits the laboratory? When the scientist visits the studio? And what happens when they work together and brainstorm?
The visit to the Museum lasts about 3 hours and can be tailored to the visiting group.
The tour starts at the Geodesic dome, where the Museum’s visitor center is.
During the second part of the visit, the children participate in a creative activity that combines science with art.
The tour and the activity can be tailored to student groups of up to 15 students.
