The New Languages exhibition presents collaborations between the Institute's researchers and artist who joined a journey of discoveries. The team collaborations at the institute continue for several months or years during which the teams develop joint research initiatives that involve a discourse on the expressions and concepts of both disciplines. From this discourse, a new language sometimes takes form. The exhibition presents a small selection of the products of such joint research: transdisciplinary* art works that created new shared knowledge, works that provide new insights into the essence of matter or the essence of scientific and artistic research.
The researchers and artists whose works are on display at the exhibition are: Vardi Bobrow and Prof. Orit Shefi; Mahmood Kaiss and Dr. Adi Salomon; Eili Levy, Dr. Sarit Cohen, Dr. Safra Rudnick-Glick, Dr. Talli Elane-Wall, Naftali Kanovsky, and Prof. Shlomo Margel; Israel Hadany and Dr. Emanuele Dalla Torre; Ella Goldman, Prof. Doron Graber, Prof. Dror Fixler, and Dr. Hamootal Duadi; Elad Schneiderman and Dr. Shay Tirosh; Elad Schneiderman and Dr. Moti Friedman (Mr. Schneiderman has two works on display, which are the products of two separate research initiatives); Caroline Maxwell, Dr. Gili Cohen Taguri, and Noa Cahaner McManus.
